Easy Jazzin' About for Piano contains 11 jazzy tunes by Pam Wedgewood covering a range of different styles, with jazzy numbers including ‘Steady as a rock’, ‘Funk it!’, and ‘Motorway blues’. They are all easy arrangements, aimed at grade 1-3 piano players and are a really fun alternative to practical exam repertoire - one of the pieces, ‘Strawberry flip’, has been used in the past as an ABRSM grade 2 exam piece.

Practical guide to each style

Before each piece in Easy Jazzin' About for Piano there is a comprehensive practical guide telling you everything you need to know; general information (key, style, useful hints, and the rhythmic accompaniment directions), workouts for each hand, important rhythms, fingerings, pedalling and other features of the piece. The piano music also includes tempo marking, dynamics, and performance directions.

CD for practise & performance

For each piece in Easy Jazzin' About for Piano there are three tracks on the CD: a complete performance to give you an example of how it should sound, a fun jazzin’ backing track to play along to once you’ve learnt the piece, and a backing track at a slower tempo, for practise.
